Rapid Dominance

A compact turn-based strategy game: the map is a grid of tiles, each turn you commit your moves, and ground changes hands. Choosing the map and the number of players before you start changes the shape of the whole game — a crowded board is a scramble, an empty one is a long build.

Short enough to finish, which is rarer in the genre than it should be.
